Finding new things

Hi all, here I am for another day in my blog
Amazing I am here so soon again.
Well soon for me.
I was blogging around, which I like to do, and came across one blog I follow. who had just put in pics of some lovely Hydrangeas she had. I love Hydrangeas and all the colours they come in, so here is a pic I keep in my craft room.
It may not be as good as the ones seen on that blog, but they remind me of all the lovely Hydrangeas I have seen in my life time.
Flowers to me are great healers, and give great joy, and it is a marvel to me how they all come about.
When you see some colours and styles and shapes you can only marvel at the how and the why of flowers
Lifes a bit like that too.
When we know what we have done and seen, and been thru in life, we can only marvel at the how and why of it too.
Lives that have been so tragic and unyeilding, for people who have either been in such pain or lost loved ones or even been thru bad experiences to be able to come out the other side and learn to live a fulfilling and positve life is like the flowers a blossoming, only to be marveled at .
Yes Flowers are so positve.
You see a very small flower putting its head up between the cracks on a road or amongst the weeds. that is how I see life.
I too have had my bad experiences and when I look back see only that it all enhanced my character as to where I am today.
Those experiences will always be with us , but it is whether or not we rise above them all and go on to live a happy and creative life is whether we win, or the demons do.
So I have learnt to be very positive and put my head up thru the cracks and
Soar above it all ,
like a beautiful flower
basking in the sun.
Hey thats me, LOL basking in the Sunlight of my life. You can do that too.
Let all the demons go, and be positve like the flowers.
Lifes like that too, it will drag you down or elevate you.
The choice is yours
So everyone, I hope I am not sounding too much like a sermon, dont mean to. just want you to see what I see in life and try hard not to let it get to you.
Think of the flowers and the butterflies, how they show their glorious colours and styles, and Soar away to a great positive New Year
love
Elizabeth.

Oh so lovely! There is a lot of well earned wisdom there, yes? I believe also that adversities do not define us, but we can choose to allow them to strengthen us...Thank you for the beautiful reminder. **blows kisses** Deb

Elizabeth, it was a perfect little sermon and reminder that we all should try to keep our heads above the cracks. This doesn't always work in all situations, but as soon as we get moved to a better situation, we need to get those heads back up. I like what you wrote! Sending love around the world to you - Jackie

A nice little sermon it was. I have always been positive about life. Several months ago, I felt like I had had some bad experience in my life and decided to write a little comic book biography with pictures and words describing my life. By the time I had several pages done and talked to my sister about things that had happened, I realized I was wrong about lots of the things I thought I remembered. I had a wonderful life compared to those kids that had really bad experiences. I am blessed and grateful and think I was just having a "poor me" day. Anyway, your look on life is wonderful and I'm glad you are out there for all of us in blog land to know and love. Take care xoxo Susan

Hi Elizabeth,

Thank you for coming to my blog, I really appreciate it. Not many people with our name, however, it took me a long time to accept it. When I was in kindergarten, I had to ask the teacher to put it up on the board, because it was such a long name to spell!! LOL She finally got frustrated with me and told me to learn how to spell my name!!!

I've had to endure years of being called, "Georga, Georgine, Georgiana, etc." But now at my age, there are far more important things to endure, or not!!! I've finally have grown into the name and learned how to spell too!! LOL

Again, thanks for coming by.

Hi Elizabeth,
I love your blog, you such a lovely, positive person, reading your blog makes me remember how important it is to stop and smell the roses. I also love flowers, roses are my favourite, over the last few years I have planted quite a few in my garden that way I always have fresh flowers in the house, they really cheer me up, my hubby says the house looks like a home with flowers.
All the best for a fantastic 2010.
Cheers, Michelle

Hi Michelle, thanks for your lovey words re my blog efforts, so glad you found me here.Yes it is important to give yourself, quality time too, as I have learnt in the years on my own , which sounds a bit funny , when all my time is my own.
But being positive is to remember to look after yourself too.
Yes I love all flowers, especially roses among others, and your garden sounds so nice and worth having, and having them around you sure does make you feel good.
Nice to blog with you ,but I guess you will soon be hard at work for the year, designing and teaching of your dolls
All the best for this new year .
